Missed Rescue

Synopsis

Bai Xiaolan, the wife of an executive, is known for her arrogant and domineering attitude. She often engages in reckless driving, such as "cutting in line," "snatching lanes," and "illegally parking in front of fire lanes," and not only does she refuse to change her ways, but she even takes pride in it. One day, she leaves her child at home and goes shopping. Meanwhile, her child, Xiong Ziqi, plays with a lighter and accidentally starts a fire. Cheng Qiqiang happens to pass by and quickly calls the fire department. When the fire truck arrives, they find Bai Xiaolan's car illegally parked in front of a fire hydrant. Meanwhile, Bai Xiaolan, casually getting a manicure, doesn't take the situation seriously. When the property management threatens to tow her car, she finally arrives, but instead of apologizing, she angrily curses at everyone and goes into a rage when she discovers that her car has been scratched by the property staff. Upon hearing that the fire didn’t occur in her unit (the apartment number was changed by the child), she pressures Cheng Qiqiang to kneel and apologize for compensation. She even calls her group of friends, driving luxury cars to block the fire lane and puncturing the fire truck's tires. It is only then that she realizes the fire happened in her own home and that her son has tragically died.
