Synopsis

Triton, the son of the sea god, disguises himself as a beggar to escape an arranged marriage and accidentally catches the bridal wreath meant for a mortal maiden, Evadne. Defying her family's mockery, Evadne insists on marrying him, enduring humiliation from her step-sister, father, and former lover. In secret, the prince protects her, punishes the wrongdoers, and brings her back to the temple. There, Poseidon, the sea god, tests Evadne in disguise through a series of trials. Despite relentless hardships, she remains kind-hearted and selfless, even risking her life to protect the sea god in his moment of danger. Ultimately, she passes every test, becoming Poseidon’s only queen, while all who once tormented her are severely punished.
