Synopsis
Zara, a sports rehabilitation therapist, joins a boxing gym in New York City because of its high salary. On her first day, she recognizes her boss, Leo, as the silent boy who always sat across from her in the library during college. Leo is aloof and has a rule that "no one is allowed within three meters of me," yet he always keeps an iced Americano on her desk and catches her the moment she almost falls. Zara accidentally finds Leo's notebook, which reads, "I saw Zara again today"—she mistakenly believes that Leo likes someone else and even suspects that he has a crush on the boxer Marco. Leo has actually been secretly in love with Zara for seven years. From silently escorting her back to her dorm every night in college, to dropping out of school to fight in underground boxing rings for her, to protecting her time and time again after their reunion: he gets jealous and sends Marco away when he gets close to Zara; he desperately tries to save Zara when she is injured in retaliation for her involvement in a doping scandal; and he gets up at five in the morning every day to make soup for her while she is hospitalized. When Zara jokingly sent Leo the message, "Give me two million and I'll be with you," Leo actually transferred two million and braved the rain to confess his love at Zara's doorstep. After they became a couple, Zara resolved her conflict with Lydia through sincerity when faced with difficulties and threats of withdrawal from her business partner's daughter.
