Synopsis

Harper is about to marry her soulmate, Jesse O'Neil, when he suddenly vanishes after a strange text summons him to meet Carlo Fioré – who is secretly Harper's mob-boss father. A note Jesse is forced to write makes everyone think he's a runaway groom, but Harper and his best friend, cop CJ Park, don't buy it, thanks to a private code word: 'olive juice' instead of 'I love you'. Jesse soon reappears as a ghost, revealing he was murdered by Devin Walker, a seemingly harmless guy with Jason Segal vibes who actually works for Carlo. Hired to stop the wedding, fake the breakup and later charm Harper into marriage to get her mother's blue diamond earrings, Devin's lies push Harper to uncover the truth about her family, her fiancé's death and the love that refuses to die.
