Synopsis

Forty years ago, basketball superstar Yao Jiang was banned from the game for 20 years after being framed by his rival, Li Ling, and has since stayed away from the game. 40 years later, Yao Jiang, who has become an ordinary old man, is encouraged by his granddaughter, Yao Shihan, to revive his dream of playing basketball. In a chance game of hoop, Yao Jiang shows his amazing skills and shocks everyone. Thereafter, he discovers that his grandson, Yao Xin, has suffered an injustice in a basketball tryout and decides to take the court himself, proving his strength by defeating the unscrupulous Gu Zeyuan with a spectacular dunk. Eventually, Yao Jiang is invited to become the head coach of the Golden Sharks and leads the team all the way against all odds, eventually winning the championship by defeating Lord Li's team in the final!
