My husband, a thousand‑year‑old vampire

Synopsis

Elena, the daughter of the former head of the Hunter Guild, loses her parents in a devastating manor fire in her childhood, and her family heirloom—the "Holy Bone Silver Blade"—is seized by the power-hungry Gareth. Adopted by Gareth and his son, she is in fact reduced to a servant, growing up in hardship under humiliation and the constraints of a forced engagement. To break off the engagement and gain her freedom, Elena accepts a deadly mission to hunt down the vampire ancestor Damon. Sneaking into a vampire ball, she is rescued by Damon, who goes by the alias "Elias". No one knows that Damon, the thousand-year-old vampire ancestor, has been silently guarding his fated mate Elena for three hundred years. As they tentatively draw closer to each other, feelings blossom between them, yet Elena struggles with the age-old feud between hunters and vampires. In a deliberate plot, Elena is fatally wounded and on the brink of death. Damon sacrifices part of his ancestral power to turn her into a vampire, and the two set out together to uncover the truth behind the fire years ago. As Gareth's power-grabbing conspiracy and Katherine's jealous schemes are exposed step by step, Elena and Damon fight side by side, ending the century-long conflict between hunters and vampires and avenging their enemies. Finally, they restore the old manor and hold their fated wedding, fulfilling her father's dying wish.
