Synopsis
When a deadly virus erupts, single mother Elena is bitten by a zombie while trying to save her son, unexpectedly mutating into a rational zombie queen. Though she can control the undead, she becomes hunted by humans. On the run, she reunites with her daughter Amy, who was transformed by the military into a "puppet master," and recruits several cloned versions of her daughter. To destroy the mastermind behind the crisis—Dr. X—they storm a biotech island and defeat the original clone, Amy-0. In the end, Elena reaches an agreement with the United Nations, leading all her "daughters" to live safely on a protected island, while 0 volunteers as a test subject for the antidote research, bringing the first glimmer of hope after the apocalypse.
