New Master of Manhattan: The Dead Woman Returns

Synopsis

At the pinnacle of power in Manhattan, heir to a wealthy family imprisons his wife Clara in a lavish cage, subjecting her to relentless torment. His stepmother Eleanor, fiancée Olivia, and his assistant Thomas conspire to poison Clara, causing her to miscarry. Suffering from terminal heart failure and utterly despondent, Clara attempts suicide by throwing herself into a blade during a confrontation. Doctor Ethan's revelation shatters Arthur's arrogance like a slap in the face, and in his frenzied investigation, he single-handedly dismantles the villainous forces. However, the devoted knight Cole makes a crucial sacrifice—donating his heart to save the life-or-death Clara. A month later, at a prestigious financial summit, Clara makes a triumphant return, radiating power and influence. Facing Arthur's attempts at repentance, her eyes are cold, and as Cole's rightful heir, she declares, word by word: "Call me Mrs. Sterling." With the heartbeat of another man, she casts the remorseful Arthur into utter despair.
