Synopsis

I was Alpha King Leon's chosen mate, the woman all of Ravenwood expected to become his Luna Queen. Days before our mating ceremony, my sister Marianne wore my ceremonial gown. Leon did not stop her. He placed my Luna Queen crown on her head and even let her try on my mating ring. Everyone told me to let it go because Marianne might never have a mating ceremony of her own. So I threw down the crown and ring—and cut my gown to pieces. Then Leon walked her along the ceremony route meant for me. I slapped her. When Leon demanded an apology, I slapped the Alpha King too.
