Synopsis
After the sudden death of modern PR expert Freya, she is reborn as the daughter of an imperial duchess. On her wedding night, she is abandoned by her lord husband Alistair and left alone for three years. When he returns, he brings back his lover Isolde. Freya turns the situation to her advantage, using her PR skills to stir up the court in a bid to secure a divorce decree. To dissolve the marriage, Freya accidentally enters King Valen’s private chamber and is forced into a "fate bond" with him—whenever she is injured, he bleeds too. From mutual manipulation to genuine affection, their relationship deepens. Meanwhile, Freya faces a conspiracy by her stepmother and stepsister to seize her inheritance, while Isolde teams up with Duke Raymond to assassinate the king. Freya fights back, exposing her stepmother's secrets and Isolde's true nature, and ultimately risks her life to save Valen at a critical moment. Alistair realizes too late that he has lost the one he truly loves. Using royal privileges, he tries to block the divorce, but finally accepts that Freya belongs to Valen and voluntarily requests to be stationed in the northern frontier, never to return. With the fate bond broken and Raymond executed, Freya marries Valen and is crowned queen.
