Oops, My Beggar Parents Are Mafia Bosses

Synopsis

Averro, a hard‑working poor bartender, gets dumped by his gold‑digging fiancée Jessica at his engagement party. Just when he hits rock bottom, a pair of muddy, ragged old couple crash the banquet by accident — they turn out to be his long‑lost birth parents. Believing his mom and dad are homeless beggars, Averro works day and night trying to support them. Little does he know, these so‑called beggars are the hidden top Mafia godfather and godmother of New York’s powerful Moretti family. They pretend to live in shabby basements, hiding billions of fortunes inside seemingly worthless trash. Every time Jessica and the arrogant rich heir Victor scheme to humiliate and destroy Averro and his kind‑hearted diner‑owner Chloe, the godfather and godmother secretly strike back with hilarious over‑the‑top tricks: freezing black cards, buying entire streets with one text, turning a kidnapping warehouse into a five‑star luxury resort, and even making the villains wear silly pink‑pig mascot suits to pick up trash in Times Square. As layers of secrets peel off, Averro gradually learns the shocking truth behind his family. From a struggling orphan bartender to the heir of half of New York’s underworld, he gains wealth, power, and true love. Filled with non‑stop comedy, instant karma, face‑slapping reversals and sweet romance, this is a wild, laugh‑out‑loud mafia rags‑to‑riches story.
