Synopsis

Genius artist Elena Voss harbors the rare "Phoenix Gene," capable of reversing cellular decay—yet she is imprisoned by her husband, Adrian Claire, head of the Claire Group, in an underground cold storage facility. While fully conscious, she is repeatedly drained of bone marrow blood for profit. Her seven-month-old fetus is killed by Adrian's own hand; her ring finger is severed by his mistress Vivienne, who steals her ring. Finally, she is discarded like waste in a junkyard to die. On the brink of death, extreme trauma activates the Phoenix Gene within her, granting her superhuman regeneration and a biological force field. Cassius Blackwood, the underworld overlord of New York, rescues her and dedicates all his resources to aid her revenge. Elena crawls back from hell, appearing barefoot at the Claire Group's charity gala, publicly exposing Adrian's human experimentation crimes and bringing his business empire crashing down overnight. Having narrowly escaped death, Adrian abandons all humanity, transforming himself successively into a mutated monster, a digital evil spirit, and a mechanical tyrant. Colluding with the U.S. military, he uses Elena's stem cells to create the cloned killing weapon Genesis, unleashing a war that sweeps across Wall Street and the entire U.S. government. Elena takes over the Blackwood Group, subdues the clone Genesis, and crushes the military's encirclement with absolute force, eventually trapping Adrian's consciousness as a biological CPU. But frequent overexertion of her divine power causes irreversible degeneration in Elena's genes, sparking a violent conflict between her survival instinct and maternal nature. Adrian seizes the opportunity to escape and hijacks a space-based weapon, launching a devastating strike. In the final battle, Elena chooses to sacrifice herself to protect Genesis, bequeathing all her Phoenix power and will to the young clone, and turns into a stone statue. Having inherited the perfect genes, Genesis ends Adrian's mechanical army, crushes the old human government system, and establishes a new evolutionary order on the ravaged wasteland. Amid the worship of the masses, Genesis is crowned the new Blackwood Overlord, ushering in a new era for the mutated.
