Reborn:The Legal Queen's Total Reckoning

Synopsis

Sharon, a senior associate, fought tooth and nail to win a 10-billion-yuan case for a wealthy client, only to be betrayed by her unscrupulous boss, Harold, who then had her shot dead. After unexpectedly being reborn two days earlier, Sharon—having seen through the bloodsucking nature of capitalism—decided to break free from her shackles and launch a hardcore counterattack through “quiet resignation”: strictly clocking out on time and refusing to work unpaid overtime. Using the core compliance framework she had personally built—one that no one else could decipher—she traps her boss and leads the firm’s rank-and-file employees in “clocking out according to the law,” reforming the cutthroat workplace culture. At the same time, Sharon’s formidable professional skills earn her the admiration of tech titan Victor. Armed with irrefutable evidence of insider trading and premeditated murder by top executives, she teams up with her new employer to lay a trap that ensnares them in court and before regulatory authorities. Ultimately, the systematic crimes committed by the firm’s “three generations of villains” at the top were exposed, and the entire leadership was arrested; the firm went into bankruptcy liquidation. Sharon, meanwhile, shook off the shadow of debt, founded an independent legal research institute, and completed a spectacular turnaround—rising from a “lowly workhorse” to a “rule-maker in the industry.”
