Return of the dragon queen

Synopsis

After giving birth to her daughter Leila, Helena, the Queen of the Radiant Golden Dragon Clan, is poisoned and framed by her stepsister Mireille. Coveting the throne, King Consort Garrick forges the results of the dragon-mark test, falsely branding Leila a "zero-mark calamity" who deserves death. Helena fights desperately to protect her daughter, burns out her own dragon core, entrusts Leila to Rowan, the leader of the Dusk Shadow Dragon Clan, and then "falls" from exhaustion. Subsequently, Garrick and Mireille usurp the throne and announce to the world that Helena and her daughter are dead. Twenty-two years later, Leila has grown into a supreme powerhouse. She appears to bear zero marks on the surface, but in truth she is an unprecedented "ten-mark" top-tier ability user. Learning that Garrick is about to receive the royal seal at the Ancestral Dragon Ceremony, she returns to the capital with evidence in hand. At the ceremony, Leila defeats all challengers, publicly exposes the conspiracy of Garrick and Mireille from years ago, and reunites with and acknowledges her mother Helena, who has been living incognito for years disguised as an herbalist. Leila then reveals her awe-inspiring ten-mark dragon form, causing the Ancestral Dragon Royal Seal to willingly recognize her as its master, and she is crowned queen. At the end of his rope, Garrick allies himself with the Abyssal Ancient Dragon and returns in the form of a demonic dragon. Leila ultimately severs his wicked will and dark power, saves the people of the Seven Cities, and restores the glory and peace of the Radiant Golden Dragon Clan.
