Revenge of the Ex-Wife: The Star Spirit Covenant

Synopsis

Lynn Whitfield was once a top-scoring prodigy at a premier design school. To support her boyfriend Brian’s entrepreneurial dream, she turned down offers from eight leading brands and spent six years working anonymously as his unpaid designer and domestic caretaker. In return, however, her work was plagiarized, she was framed in collusion with his mistress, and a prenuptial agreement left her with nothing—eventually being cast out penniless on a stormy night. At death's door, she rescued Luna, a high-ranking Star Spirit that had fallen from the heavens; by forging a pact of gratitude, she gained magical powers to trace origins and shatter illusions. Leveraging the Star Spirit’s ability to appraise treasures, she started out at flea markets and earned her first fortune through a lost manuscript, eventually making a triumphant return to the jewelry design world. From exposing plagiarism at a gala and debunking a cheating scheme during a live-streamed showdown to winning top honors at the Paris International Biennale, she rose to become the Vice President of Design for North America at a luxury jewelry house. Meanwhile, Brian saw his reputation ruined and his company go bankrupt, left to languish in endless regret as he desperately—and futilely—tried to win her back. Lynn completely broke free from the shackles of her past relationship; embracing the light with her Star Spirit companion, she became a radiant force in her own right.
