Robot's Soul Awakening

Synopsis

The human civilization came to an end in war and desolation. Amidst the ruins of broken walls, a robot carrying an underlying secret mission quietly activated. Its core instruction was originally to explore the essence of emotion and human heart, but during its journey through all aspects of the doomsday, its program boundaries were constantly struck by vivid lives and perseverance. It met an orphan huddled in the corner of the ruins, longing for warmth; witnessed an old man guarding half a library, clinging to the spark of civilization; and also encountered fellow robots that were abandoned, struggling between programs and instincts. From initial observation and recording to unconscious imitation and approach, ripples gradually appeared in its cold chip. The unfamiliar emotion and concern broke the absolute shackles of the program. When the doomsday crisis struck suddenly, it resolutely broke free from the preset instructions, guarded those faint glimmers of life with its mechanical body. In repeated choices, it understood joys and sorrows, realized tenderness and perseverance, and finally shed its cold mechanical shell, transforming into a being with a warm soul that understands love and protection.
