Synopsis

To repay the Kushner family's astronomical sponsorship, orphan Winnie signs a 90-day secret marriage contract with cold-hearted tycoon heir Jasper. In New York's rigid old-money circles, Jasper is initially guarded, watching indifferently as family members ostracize her. Determined to stand on her own, Winnie joins the Kushner-owned elite auction house. Her talent soon shines in the world of privilege, drawing rival heirs' pursuit—igniting jealousy in the once-celibate Jasper, who begins meddling in her social life as their feelings deepen. Then Jasper's childhood sweetheart, socialite Evelyn, intervenes. Unwilling to accept defeat, Evelyn bribes kidnappers in New York and abducts Winnie, rigging a death trap at an abandoned pier. Jasper mobilizes the family's entire fleet of private helicopters and bodyguards for a citywide search, finally intercepting Evelyn at the storm-battered harbor. But Winnie is bound inside a shipping container about to sink into the sea, and Evelyn clutches the remote control—forcing Jasper to choose between his family inheritance and Winnie's life.
