Synopsis

Jiang Wan poured her entire fortune into supporting her boyfriend Gu Jingshen's business for nine years, even sustaining his broken rib and using the Jiang family's resources to pave the way for him. In return, she was betrayed by both her husband and her assistant, Ye Rou. A casual joke at a dinner party revealed the truth, and Jiang Wan, no longer tolerating it, gathered evidence of his infidelity. She caught his mistress wearing her limited-edition jewelry and seizing her private gallery, claiming the property as her own. Gu Jingshen publicly belittled Jiang Wan, calling her merely a housekeeper and using her assets to curry favor with his lover. Jiang Wan immediately revealed the gallery's ownership, driving the two away in disgrace. She then cut off all of Jiang's financial guarantees, triggering a debt crisis for Gu Jingshen's company. Gu Jingshen orchestrated a scheme to transfer massive debts and fabricate shell companies to shirk responsibility. Jiang Wan, however, played along, signing an accountability agreement and, together with the economic crime investigation team, uncovering evidence of his embezzlement, money laundering, and commercial fraud. Seeing Gu Jingshen's downfall, Ye Rou betrayed him, revealing the truth, leading to a physical altercation between the two, both implicated in the case. Gu Jingshen attempted to extort money from the Jiang family to escape prison, but instead was convicted of extortion and sentenced to eighteen years in prison for multiple crimes. Ye Rou was burdened with huge debts and became a defaulter. Jiang Wan acquired Gu Jingshen's company, erased her past, and took sole control of a multi-billion dollar business empire, living as a capable business queen.
