Synopsis

Ye Yufan, a history student, was attacked by a monster during an archaeological dig. On the verge of losing his life, he was rescued by an ancient saber named "Cloud Cleaver". This mishap dragged him into a concealed world and compelled him to join a special organization — the Fengcheng Branch of the Anomaly Disaster Administration. Operating in the shadows of the city, they deal with supernatural incidents incomprehensible to ordinary people. As their investigations progress, Ye Yufan comes to realize that all the unrest leads to an archaic secret. Ancient threats are stirring awake, and stone gates sealed away for a thousand years are about to open once more. The saber he grips is the very key that bridges the past and the future.
