Synopsis
The day she signed her release papers, all she could think about was rushing home. Three years in prison had been worth it to keep her family safe. As soon as she walked in the door, she heard her parents and that man laughing from the dining room. Her adopted sister was wearing her engagement ring, hugging her fiancé, and laughing happily with her parents. She refused to accept her adopted sister, who, heartbroken, ran out and was killed in a car accident. As she knelt on the living room carpet to apologize, her fiancé and parents placed a photo of her adopted sister in front of her. “Atone for your sins properly,” they said. Over the next year, she endured unbearable torment, only to discover by chance that her parents and fiancé were celebrating her adopted sister’s birthday. It turned out it had all been a lie. A drawer full of psychological evaluation reports piled up: PTSD, severe depression, somatization disorder. Her adopted sister gloated and framed her with glee. In her despair, she went up to the rooftop. After her death, her parents and fiancé were filled with remorse and finally uncovered her adopted sister’s lies. The man was reborn a year earlier, determined to make amends and protect her. She was overjoyed, but suddenly her memories of her past life resurfaced, and she resolutely walked away without looking back.
