Synopsis
Cynthia Jennings is the daughter of the CEO of Shaw Airlines, and from a young age, she aspired to become a pilot. In high school, Cynthia met and fell in love with Conrad Shelton. For him, she gave up her dream of becoming a pilot and became an air traffic controller. Seven years of marriage later, Cynthia sat in the tower control room, waiting for Conrad to safely land. However, she found out about his ambiguous relationship with flight attendant Joanna Cox and was soon faced with a divorce. At this point, Cynthia had already been diagnosed with stomach cancer. In order to ensure Conrad's flight safety, she decided to forgo treatment and continue working. When Conrad coldly scolded her without regard for their past, Cynthia had an awakening. No longer willing to sacrifice for this man, she decided to divorce him and return to the Shaws. After Cynthia left, Conrad realized how much he relied on her and struggled with the lack of her care. He wanted her to come back, but Cynthia had already started a new life. Eventually, Conrad came to understand that his arrogance and pride had driven Cynthia away.
