Synopsis
Mr. Winston favors his stepdaughter Celia and forces Isabel to take her place in a marriage to a remote castle. The master of the castle, Alexander, is gentle and wealthy. In truth, he is a werewolf cursed by a witch and the King of Verona. Under the care of housekeeper Martha, Isabel discovers the castle holds immense treasures, and gradually falls in love with Alexander, who repeatedly risks his life to protect her. After Celia marries into the Jonathan family, she and Oliver constantly humiliate and frame Isabel. They even stab Alexander in the back. Pressured by her father, Isabel signs an agreement to renounce her inheritance and cuts all ties with the Winston family. She flees back to the castle and awakens the dying Alexander with a kiss of true love. The curse is lifted, and roses bloom all over the hillside. The royal wedding is held in the rose garden. Celia and Oliver sneak in to cause trouble, while Bai and Loki publicly reveal that Alexander is the king. The Jonathan household is seized, the Winston family suffers repercussions, and the two troublemakers are exiled. Isabel and Alexander are finally wed. A childhood secret comes to light: young Alexander saved Isabel from drowning and was cursed into a werewolf by the witch. Only true love could break the spell. Now the curse is gone, and the two stay together forever in the rose garden.
