Synopsis

Five years ago, Anna was imprisoned for stabbing her father. During a prison visit, she took off the engagement ring Elias had given her and ended their relationship firmly, vanishing from his life. Five years later, Anna returns to Los Angeles with her four-and-a-half-year-old son Noah, hoping for a fresh start. Plagued by her criminal record, she struggles desperately to find work until she unexpectedly lands a position as a legal assistant at Eli Law Firm, working closely with Elias, the firm’s founding managing partner. Though they maintain a formal superior-subordinate facade, old tensions simmer. Elias has never gotten over Anna and tries repeatedly to win her back, while Anna keeps him at arm’s length, hiding Noah’s paternity and the truth behind their breakup. As they grow closer, Elias notices Noah bears striking similarities to him. Meanwhile, Anna faces constant harassment from her sister Mia and father Asher. Elias repeatedly defends Anna and her son, slowly thawing her guarded heart.
