Synopsis

Ava Reed, the true heiress of the Reed Group, goes undercover as a hotel cleaner to secretly observe her arranged fiancé, Kane Black. They share a passionate night; she gets pregnant. The next morning, Vivian—a scheming half-sister who has been impersonating Ava—shows Kane a fake photo of Ava with an older CEO (actually Ava's father), convincing him Ava is a professional con artist. Kane humiliates Ava publicly, denies her, offers her money to disappear, and forces her to work as his assistant while tormenting her. Ava endures, gathers evidence, and fights back. Midway, her true identity is revealed at a gala: she is the real Reed heiress, and Vivian is exposed as a fraud and banished. Kane, realizing his mistake and still in love with Ava, begins a remorseful "chase" to win her back. He signs over his assets, publicly admits his wrongs, and protects her from Vivian's final schemes. Ava gives birth to their son. Though she doesn't immediately forgive him, she grants him a chance to prove himself—on her terms. The story ends with Ava reclaiming her dignity and choice, standing in the same hotel lobby where she was once humiliated, now with her family and Kane behind her—waiting for her decision.
