The Desert Girl Who Made a King

Synopsis

Nayla, a native of the Sand Sea, finds Aiden after his ship crashes near the star mines. He is an imperial heir hiding from a political marriage and the cruel breeding plans of the Sisterhood and the Krags family. While sheltering him among her people, Nayla learns that Bruce, the man promised to her, has secretly chosen Zani from the Main Planet instead. Their betrayal soon becomes a public assault on her honor, as they frame her for turning against her own tribe. Aiden refuses to let Nayla be condemned. Using the mysterious power in his voice, he saves her from execution and challenges the chieftain for command. After consuming the Crescent Moon Herb, his eyes shine gold, convincing the Sand Sea clans that he is Hera, the figure foretold to deliver them. He conquers the wild Sand Lion King and rises as their leader. But Zani reveals that Aiden is royalty, leaving Nayla devastated by the secret he kept. Forced back to the homeworld to marry Lydia of the Krags family, Aiden appears trapped by duty. Nayla gathers the Sand Sea warriors, seizes the mining district, punishes Bruce, and invades the wedding to bring Aiden home. Recognized by his old allies through Nayla's ring, the pair escape their enemies and return to the desert. Together, they challenge the Krags family, leading a war that will decide the future of the entire star system.
