Synopsis
Maya Washington, a talented WNBA prospect and star point guard, has her dream shattered when someone spikes her drink with banned stimulants. Wrongfully suspended for two years, she is labeled a cheater, losing her agent, sponsors and team spot. Forced to play in a low-level development league, Maya never gives up. She secretly gathers evidence against Lena, her jealous backup player, and Lena’s boyfriend Daniel, the mastermind behind the scheme. With support from her loyal friend Kayla and a private investigator, Maya proves her innocence. After her suspension ends, she returns to WNBA, outperforms rivals and exposes the truth publicly. The culprits receive severe penalties. Later, Maya wins league MVP and a championship.
