Synopsis

Wang Xiuying, who became a widow at a young age, worked hard to raise her two sons. Her eldest son, Zhao Jun, left home to work in hopes of improving their family's situation, but he has been out of contact for five years. Her second daughter-in-law, Li Qinfen, despises her and sends her to a notorious "elderly villa" funded by Tianhai Group. The villa is run by Qian Li, who mistreats the elderly residents, even going as far as to kill them for funeral expenses. Wang Xiuying suffers abuse there, but she continues to hold onto hope, waiting for her eldest son to return.
