The Father Who Lost His Son

Synopsis

Michael and Sofia were divorcing. To keep him away from their son Leah, Sofia's family hid the boy. Michael believed Leah was safe. He was wrong. Sofia left her sick child locked in a sauna while she went on a date. The temperature climbed. The air thinned. Leah called his mother again and again. She never answered. With his last breath, Leah called his father. Michael raced to save him. Sofia lied about the address. Her mother lied. Her sister lied. They delayed him at every turn. When Michael finally broke down the sauna door — it was too late. Leah was gone. Then Sofia's boyfriend's son needed a cornea transplant. Sofia pushed for the donation. She never asked whose eyes they were. On the day of her company's launch, Sofia learned the truth. The cornea she gave away belonged to her own dead son. She remembered the locked door. The broken thermostat. The calls she ignored. She had killed him. And then she gave away his eyes.
