The Fiancée He Never Wanted

Synopsis

Sixty-two-year-old Helena Sinclair is a retired, rehired OB-GYN who drives an old car and wears worn cardigans. Nobody suspects she is actually the true matriarch of the Sinclair & Sterling jewelry empire and Seraphine, the world-renowned legendary gem virtuoso. During a clinic consultation, Helena diagnoses her patient, Camilla, with syphilis—only to realize the woman is her son Adrian’s fiancée. Believing Helena is just a penniless old woman, Camilla flies into a rage, physically assaulting her, smashing her medical awards, and withholding her heart medication during an attack. Helena bides her time and gathers evidence to expose the fraud behind Camilla’s innocent facade. At a lavish charity gala, Helena transforms into an avenger, laying out irrefutable proof of Camilla’s fake pregnancy, infidelity, and attempted murder. Taking off her reading glasses, Helena pulls out her gemstone engraving chisel. Examining the heirloom ruby Camilla arrogantly flaunts, Helena reveals her signature "S" carved on the gem's girdle—proving she created it. Unveiling her true identity as a medical expert, jewelry queen, and master artisan, Helena completely crushes those who dared to trample on her.
