The Forbidden Truth

Synopsis

Thirty years ago, Ye Tian, Fu Siye's father, fell in love with Murong Yanxue, Murong Yue's mother, and together they had Murong Yue. Believing they could live happily ever after, they were forced apart due to family opposition, leaving a lifelong regret for both. Ye Tian’s lawful wife—Fu Siye’s mother—unable to bear that her husband never touched her after marriage, had an affair with the butler and gave birth to Fu Siye. As time passed, Fu Siye and Murong Yue grew up and fell in love. After marrying into the Fu family, Murong Yue discovered that Ye Tian was actually her biological father. However, at Ye Tian’s request, she kept the truth hidden to protect Fu Siye. Seizing the opportunity, her best friend Su Qingcheng sowed discord, leading Fu Siye to mistakenly believe that Murong Yue and Ye Tian had an improper relationship. Facing the shocking revelation that his wife had seemingly become his stepmother, Fu Siye flew into a rage, hurting Murong Yue and even causing her to miscarry. Having endured enough, Murong Yue returned to the Murong family and gradually uncovered the truth of the past, eventually resolving the misunderstandings with Fu Siye.
