The Hotel Trap

Synopsis

Wealthy CEO Dylan Walker’s wife Chloe Bennett stays in a luxury hotel suite on a business trip. In the dead of night, she is besieged by a crowd including the hotel manager. Collaborating with a maid and a security guard, they falsely accuse her of bringing a man to her room and making indecent noises, then livestream the incident to brand her a cheater and ruin her reputation. Chloe turns to Dylan for help, only to receive his cold rejection. To clear her name, she requests surveillance footage, which appears to confirm the accusation. Yet Chloe spots distinctive mannerisms revealing the man is Dylan. A voiceprint test further proves the male voice in the audio belongs to Dylan, while the female voice is not hers. Chloe fully exposes the conspiracy. Dylan used a shell company to book the entire top floor, hired troublemakers, swapped their room numbers, and created the false audio with his assistant Mia. His goal was to defame Chloe, force her into a penniless divorce and seize their joint property. Dylan and his accomplices are arrested. Chloe livestreams the truth and wins public sympathy. Dylan is finally sentenced to four years in prison for his crimes.
