Synopsis

In 1922, Stella, a little ancient beast, tumbles into the human world. After a failed attempt to dine-and-dash, she crosses paths with Marshal Carter, who ends up adopting the clever little creature as his daughter. Using her unique abilities to devour misfortune and sever deadly fates, Stella repeatedly saves the Carter family, earning the deep affection of Jason Carter. However, Jessica, a transmigrator unhappy with the altered storyline, conspires with Jason's rival to sabotage Stella. Their schemes are continually thwarted. Ultimately, Stella helps reunite the family, awakens Jason's wife from a decade-long slumber, and defies a celestial decree demanding her return. Choosing to remain as a mortal, she finds her forever home and happiness with the Carter.
