The Mafia's Captive Wife

Synopsis

"Ethan and Ivy were betrothed in childhood. To protect Ivy, Ethan was abducted and presumed dead. His mother passed away from grief, and his father adopted Julian as his heir. With Ethan long gone, Ivy agreed to marry Julian. At their engagement party, Ethan returned as a formidable crime boss and took Ivy away. A car accident left Ivy amnesiac. Ethan lied about being her husband and kept her captive, while locking Julian inside a statue. Affection grew between Ethan and Ivy as they lived together. When Ivy regained her memory, she planned to escape and rescue Julian. Heartbroken by her betrayal, Ethan confined her harshly. After Ivy fled, she realized Ethan’s deep love. Though furious, Ethan forgave her upon seeing her tears. Ivy learned of Ethan’s agonizing past after the abduction and understood his obsession. They defeated Ethan’s kidnapper and exposed Ivy’s father and stepmother, who killed her mother to seize her inheritance. Finally, Ivy proposed to Ethan. They let go of all grievances, turned their twisted bond into sincere love, and fulfilled their childhood promise to stay together forever."
