The Maid in The Bed
Synopsis
Twenty years ago, Vanessa Cole destroyed Hope Bennett’s family. She seduced Hope’s father, stole her mother’s life, helped drive the family into ruin, and left eight-year-old Hope watching everything she loved disappear. Now Hope is back. Calling herself Claire Foster, she enters Vanessa’s luxurious estate as the perfect live-in maid: quiet, obedient, and completely harmless. She is none of those things. Claire begins dismantling Vanessa’s life piece by piece—planting suspicion in her marriage, exposing affairs, tempting her husband, and turning the family’s deepest weaknesses against them. But her most dangerous move comes when she gets close to Vanessa’s beloved son, Ethan, the boy Claire once knew before revenge consumed her life. As desire, betrayal, hidden cameras, family secrets, and old memories collide, Vanessa finally realizes the maid in her house is the child she once destroyed. Claire did not come back for an apology. She came to make Vanessa watch her perfect family fall apart—exactly as hers did.
