Synopsis

Retired Army Sergeant Valerie Cohen, who was saved by her comrade Danny in Afghanistan, cherished Danny's medal as a memento. After retiring, she worked as a cleaner. At airport security, her medal was confiscated by her ex-husband's current wife, Katherine. Valerie unexpectedly discovered that her ex-husband, Benjamin, had been using her and Danny's war merits to forge his resume and fraudulently obtain huge government security contracts. She gathered evidence, teaming up with former comrades, Danny's mother, and a repentant Katherine, ultimately exposing the fraud, leading to Benjamin's imprisonment and stripping him of his military status. Valerie reclaimed her honor and founded a training center for female veterans, helping many women in difficult circumstances regain their dignity, achieve independence, and find redemption while also honoring her fallen comrades.
