Synopsis
Metheus was an orphan from a foreign fishing village. At sixteen, he learned that he was the son of the King of Athens, and he set out on the journey home carrying stones as proof of his identity. Along the way, he killed villains protected by Poseidon. When he returned to Athens, he was persecuted by nobles and witches and thrown into prison. At this time, Crete was forcibly taking children to feed to the labyrinth beasts. He volunteered to go, killed the Minotaur in Crete, but on the way back, the white sail was replaced with a black one, causing his father, the king, to fall into the sea and die. When he got back to the city, he was falsely accused of regicide, and the divine court sealed his inherent power. But he used his will to break the chains, becoming even stronger. He slaughtered the court, abolished sacrifices, wounded Poseidon with his sword, stormed the sacred domain to rescue Princess Aria, and killed gods in retaliation. In the end, he led a mortal alliance to Olympus and exposed Zeus’s thousand-year scheme to manipulate fate. During the war between gods and mortals, he burned his essence to stab Zeus, declaring the humiliation of mortals. Zeus silently retreated, the divine court collapsed, and sunlight shone equally on all for the first time.
