Synopsis

A billionaire hosts lavish parties on the high seas at "Emerald Island," but beneath the surface lies an underground fortress where horrific, inhumane experiments take place. Kidnapped teenagers are thrown into an arena for the amusement of the powerful elite. The codenamed "Guardian," Ethan, blows up the docks and storms the isolated island alone, rescuing the trapped children. During the evacuation, however, a fake rescue team opens fire from a helicopter. To protect the children, Ethan falls into the sea. On the brink of death, his "Guardian System" activates, repairing his body and unlocking the secrets of Chinese martial arts. Bursting out of the water, Ethan hunts down the shadowy organization behind it all, the "All-Seeing Eye." From the bridges of Chicago to a snow-covered stronghold in the Swiss Alps, he eliminates the leader and completes his mission of protection. The ending hints that as long as darkness exists, the Guardian will never truly leave the stage.
