Synopsis

Nefer, a noblewoman who was stabbed and pushed off a pyramid by her own sister Ansuña in her past life, is reborn alongside her sister on the day of the spouse‑selection ceremony for the Festival of Goddess Hathor. Ansuña rushes to toss the fateful lotus blossom to the high priest’s son. Seeing through the hypocrisy of the theocracy, Nefer accidentally throws her lotus toward a dirt‑caked temple laborer — who is none other than Pharaoh Atum traveling incognito. She abandons her noble title to marry this so‑called beggar, unaware she has wed the most powerful man in all of Egypt. From mud‑brick huts in the slums to the innermost royal palace, she endures family betrayal, her sister’s persecution, court intrigues, and relentless trials set by the Queen Mother. With extraordinary courage and kindness, she gradually proves she is worthy of the queen’s throne.
