The price of his cruelty

Synopsis

To save her boyfriend Alex, Ivy donated a portion of her liver, later giving birth to their daughter, Lily. However, the medical toll left Ivy suffering from a life-threatening aneurysm. Six years later, facing exorbitant medical bills for Lily’s urgent surgery, Ivy is forced to work as a waitress at Alex's engagement party, where he recognizes her. Cold and resentful, Alex humiliates her by forcing her to climb high to retrieve decorative balloons. Desperate for the money, Ivy complies, only to fall from the height and slip into a coma. As Ivy fights for her life, Alex's manipulative fiancée, Victoria, provokes him into refusing to sign the crucial surgical consent forms. Just in time, Marcus steps forward to unveil the devastating truth: years ago, Ivy sacrificed her own health and freedom to secure Alex's liberty, and Lily is indeed his biological daughter. Ultimately, Ivy's surgery is a success. Striken with remorse, Alex begs for forgiveness, Victoria turns herself in to the authorities for her crimes, and the family is finally reunited in love and healing.
