Synopsis

The orphan Veronica, who was suffering from bone cancer, was systematically sent to a parallel world and transformed into a rich heiress. She needed to win over the Filmore brothers and the male lead Francisco and complete the marriage contract in order to obtain healing and rebirth. She endured for fifteen years to accomplish the task, but encountered the ultimate betrayal on her wedding day when she was divorced and her entire family favored her younger sister Meredith. In despair, she chose to commit suicide. Only after her true death did her indifferent family finally wake up and fall into endless remorse and "the crematorium". Veronica, who completed the task and returned to reality and regained her health, refused to turn back and completely cut off the past. Eventually, she received true redemption in the orphanage with gentle companionship.
