Synopsis
Selene Valance, a young psychic in Los Angeles, inherited her grandmother Hurst's talents in clairvoyance and magic, protecting the human world from the disturbances of the underworld. Many years ago, Hurst defied fate to save the actress Iris, angering the Underworld King Hades. She burned out her own silver thread in sacrifice, leaving Selene to manage on her own. Two years later, Selene broke curses and dealt with other evil entities. Iris became infested with a lust demon parasite planted by wealthy playboy Damian Lowell, and Selene decisively rescued her. They developed feelings for each other. Meanwhile, actress Evelyn Nolan allied with a hellish succubus, trading her soul for roles and harming many in the cast, nearly killing Iris. Selene saw through Evelyn's scheme and went into a deadly fight with the succubus and underworld forces. In order to save director Anna Rodman, who was being hunted by the Death God, Selene was gravely injured. Iris' tears triggered a twin awakening. She fused her divine powers with Selene, defeating the Death God. In the end, Iris gave up Hollywood fame and fortune to stay with Selene. The two became beings beyond gods and demons. Together, they protected Los Angeles and started a happy life together.
