Synopsis
Ella White is the daughter of General Thomas, a border commander. One day, Queen Isolde Astoria of the kingdom of Astoria storms into her home, accusing Thomas of "treason" and preparing to execute him on the spot. To save her father, Ella is forced to agree to Isolde's terms—enter the palace as her personal maid, becoming the Queen's "pet." Inside the palace, Ella endures Isolde's taunts and humiliations, yet gradually discovers the loneliness and vulnerability hidden beneath the Queen's cold exterior.
