Synopsis

On the New Year's Eve, Vince Fisher planned to accompany his pregnant wife, Cathy Ford, to her parents' home for the holiday. However, she vehemently opposed the idea, angrily accusing him of being suffocating before storming out. Left with little choice, Vince agreed to his director's request to work an extra shift at the maternity center.While he was toiling away, Cathy was checking into a hotel with her younger lover, Micah Foster. Their intense encounter led to a medical emergency - internal bleeding that required immediate surgery. To avoid being discovered by Vince, they went to the very maternity center where he was working.During his shift, Vince was first informed that his wife had not gone home but was at a hotel. Then, he was handed a surgical form for his wife's condition. Faced with irrefutable proof of her infidelity, Vince's heart froze over. He decided to show no mercy. He confronted Cathy with the evidence, exposing the adulterous pair and ensuring they were left with nothing.Even when caught red-handed, Cathy, emboldened by the fact she was carrying his child, tried to bully Vince into apologizing to her, causing a scene in the operating room.
