Synopsis

Leo, a bankrupt Uber driver, stumbles upon a mysterious devil's coin that can rewrite all probabilities when he is at the end of his rope. From that moment on, he never misses a winning lottery ticket, walks out of every casino with a mountain of cash, and even bullets fired straight at him will somehow veer off his path. Yet as his streak of unbeatable luck drags on, he gradually uncovers the horrific hidden cost of his heaven-defying fortune: all the fatal misfortunes that should have fallen on him are being equivalently transferred to his beloved wife and little daughter. When he finally finds out the so-called "superpower" is nothing but a vile experiment run by the CEO of a hundred-billion-dollar conglomerate, who designed the whole scheme to siphon every personal disaster away from himself, the enraged Leo is reborn as a reaper. He stops chasing lucky breaks, and chooses to embrace the ultimate "misfortune" instead, taking down the whole of Wall Street and the sprawling underground black market all on his own.
