Synopsis
When she was young, after providing bone marrow for her elder brother Xia Shilu, Xia Shiwei was sold to a human trafficker by her father Xia Tian and later adopted by a fishmonger named Lu Qiu, taking on the name Lu Weiwei. Nineteen years later, Xia Shiwei joined the Xia Group and became Xia Shilu’s specially recruited assistant. However, she was subjected to jealousy, humiliation, and workplace bullying by the Xia family’s adopted daughter, Xia Shiyun. All the while, Xia Shilu remained unaware that his own sister was right beside him, suffering in silence.
