Synopsis

Wei Luo is a bit of a bungling young witch. A botched spell amplifies her darker side, and on a rainy night, she accidentally runs over Connor—the leader of the North American werewolf pack—leaving him with total amnesia. Afraid of the consequences yet captivated by his handsome face, she lies and claims they are engaged. She brings the werewolf king back to her run-down rental and makes him work odd jobs to support her. The charade lasts over six months; when the curse finally wears off and her true self returns, Wei Luo is horrified by her own actions and wants nothing more than to flee. But the amnesiac Connor has already fallen in love with her. He is gentle, obedient, and indulges her every whim. While she revels in his tenderness, she is terrified of the truth coming to light—knowing the werewolf pack would never forgive her for injuring their leader and deceiving him for so long. Meanwhile, Connor’s fiancée, Seraphina, constantly makes trouble; his lieutenant, Hale, desperately searches for his master; and her best friend, Nolan, urges her to confess. Connor edges closer to the truth through fragmented memories, yet upon fully regaining his memory, he chooses forgiveness.
