Synopsis

THREADS is a 30-episode short-form drama that follows Elena Everett, a young seamstress trapped in a trailer park in rural Georgia, who discovers that the man she has loved and sacrificed for three years has been manipulating her all along. When she finds a hidden stash of letters in which her boyfriend Cole and his friends mock her devotion as a running joke, Elena makes a decision in a single night: she leaves. She calls the father she has never met—Elliot Everett, a textile magnate in New York—and boards a Greyhound bus with nothing but a beat-up suitcase and a brass thimble warped by fire. What begins as an escape becomes a reckoning. In New York, Elena steps into her father's company not as a charity case but as a force no one saw coming.
