Time and You: Bitter Yet Sweet

Synopsis

After losing her father at a young age, Chloe Martin was raised single-handedly by her struggling mother. Just as Chloe reached adulthood, her mother was diagnosed with a critical illness, pushing their family deeper into despair. At her lowest point, James Grant's girlfriend approaches her with an offer: Bear a child for James in exchange for covering all her mother's medical expenses. Desperate, Chloe agrees, only to accidentally end up in a one-night stand with James, the powerful CEO of the Grant Group, and become pregnant with his child. But then, Fiona Brooks suddenly breaks their agreement. When Chloe later discovers James is suffering from a sudden illness requiring a bone marrow transplant, and that she's a perfect match. She makes a difficult decision: She'll only save him if he marries her, giving their unborn child a family. The Grants are forced to accept, but James resents Chloe, treating her with nothing but contempt. Yet through her sincerity and kindness, Chloe slowly melts the ice around everyone's hearts.
