Synopsis
Jiang Shiyue was diagnosed with late-stage brain cancer, and her mother-in-law, Zhou Shuping, worked on a construction site and sold their house to raise money for her treatment. However, Jiang Shiyue mistakenly believed that it was Zhou Shuping who had brain cancer and was selling the house to pay for her own treatment. Furious, Jiang Shiyue threatened divorce and pressured her husband, Zhao Hao, to kick his mother, Zhou Shuping, out of the house. Zhou Shuping, determined to save Jiang Shiyue, refused to leave and insisted on selling the house. In a fit of anger, Jiang Shiyue tore up the house deed, cutting off Zhou Shuping’s plan to sell the house. She even threatened to sever ties with Zhou Shuping completely.
