Synopsis
Set in a medieval fantasy kingdom, respected frontier general Leonard Thorne is arrested and put on public trial for high treason. Using forbidden memory magic, Queen Fia and the court unspool his alleged atrocities: killing nobles, children and Brienne’s whole family. As painful memory extraction proceeds, the terrible truth unfolds. All the victims were already possessed by the evil Shadow Weaver, and Leonard bore public disgrace to block the demon’s conspiracy. Drained of his life force by the magic, he is fatally wounded. Surviving fortress soldiers testify to his self‑sacrificial plan. Finally vindicated, Leonard peacefully passes away, leaving the realm to reflect on justice, appearances and bitter sacrifices for humanity’s survival.
